About Our Institution
our story
Munnar Catering College is a Hospitality Education Institution established by the Thachankary Foundation. The college was set up with the purpose of imparting education and maintaining and operating allied facilities for the promotion of hospitality, tourism, art, culture, social activities etc.
Today, the college is a specialist and thought leader in Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism education and is the largest institute of its kind in India. Munnar Catering College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Govt. of India and the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Kerala. It is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
